Save the date - XXX Get Off At Edge Hill



Thursday 22nd October, 6.30pm- 9pm

Metal will be launching the newly renovated Edge Hill Station, a creative space for art, events and conversation in Liverpool. There will be an opportunity to see inside the historic grade II listed buildings at Edge Hill, the oldest passenger station in the world. This is the site where George Stephenson’s Rocket set off with the Prime Minister on board, the day the Liverpool to Manchester Railway opened for business. The transformed Engine Room, Boiler House and Accumulator Tower will be open all evening for guests to visit.

Taking as their starting point the well known scouse phrase ‘Get off at Edge Hill’ Metal’s artists in residence AL and AL have curated a site specific group exhibition that explores sexual and industrial metaphors in painting, sculpture and film This exhibition will run until 5th December.
